Something to Chew On

By now you've heard about that recent 8.9 earthquake in Japan that sent a tsunami wave to Russia, California, Australia, and Mexico. But did you also know that a day before it happened, our sun shot us with a huge solar flare? And on the day of the solar flare, Hawaii's big volcano started becoming very active, as well as one in Indonesia? In fact, in the course of the past 12-24 months, this earth has seen many volcanoes going active and large earthquakes, more than usual. Remember the Iceland volcano that shut down Europe for days?

Well, that's just natural disasters were talking about. What other prophetic events are happening in the world today? Well, today's churches are being filled with false and very deceptive doctrine, which I'm sure most of you reading this can think of at least one bible verse related to the Great Apostasy.

But what about outside the walls of church? Nearly all bible prophecy looks toward that little country of Israel, God's chosen people. See, because of all the earthquakes, volcanoes, dead birds and fish, and other recent news, we seem to have forgotten that all of Israel's neighboring countries are going through a Muslim uprising. The countries that were somewhat friendly toward Israel, promising not to nuke them, have now been taken over by radical Muslim extremists, or are about to be.

Then there are those prophecies that talk about global economic hard times. But I won't go there now since this is pretty obvious to us all. I could go on and on with all these signs Jesus and the book of Revelation told us about, but this post would be way too long.

So here's what I've concluded:

Of the thousands of people in Japan that were alive on March 10, but today are dead, most of them were NOT Christian. This means most of them are in now Hell or on their way to Hell, depending on your doctrine about death.

If you are not sure where you stand with God, now's a VERY good time to ask Him. He's always waiting for us, but one day soon He won't wait any more. I'm finding it very easy to believe that day is VERY SOON.

UFOs NOW MAKE SENSE!

OH MY GARSH! I JUST GOT A HEAVY REVY ABOUT THESE DAYS OF NOAH!!!

I've been seeing a lot of recent news reports of UFO sighting, and not just by some Nebraska farmer out in his field or by some teenage boy smoking a doobie with his buddy behind the barn. No, these recent reports mention sightings seen by many and/or are UFOs hovering over city landmarks and buildings.

In the past, I've written off these reports because we Christians know intelligent beings from another planet don't exists, at least not according to the Bible. However, many of my fellow watchers have accredited these sitings to Satan's attempts to woo the world into a New World Order. And who better would he use than his fallen angels, the Nephilim.

What's a Nephilim? The old and new King James versions call them "giants" and the Strong's Concordance agrees, with the inclusion of rebels, apostates, and fallen. You'll find mention of them in Numbers 13:33 and Genesis 6:4, just a few verses before the the flood. The bible tells us they mated with women and started a race of giant humans (of which Goliath is considered by some to be one of). Archeologists have found the remains of some of these giants.

And this leads me to the Heavy Revy:
Right before the flood, Genesis 6 says the Nephilim (fallen angels) were on the earth. Jesus said that the days of His coming would by like the Days of Noah (Matt 24:37).

For years I've been telling my fellow church foke who love singing that song "These are the Days of Elijah" that really, these are the days of Noah. But I was only basing it on what Jesus said: "they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage". And I was also basing it on Genesis 6:5 right before the flood:

Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the LORD said, "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them."

But I had never connected the dots with the Nephilim being in the Days of Noah until now! I guess that means we TRULY ARE in the days of Noah.

And that ain't the pizza talking either.

Who Lit the Middle East Fuse?

Lately the news from the Middle East has been interesting to say the least. A little revolt in the Muslim country of Tunisia turned into a tidal wave of revolts throughout the region. Egypt, which is about to lose its current government, is getting the biggest attention in all this.

Here's a prophecy that seems to relate to Egypt's dilemma:

The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.

And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.

And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.

And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts.

And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up.

(and the prophecy goes on and on)

So what's the big deal?

An organization known as the "Muslim Brotherhood" is set to take over, with the blessing of own President Obama, the middle eastern governments fallen to this revolt. What's worse is that the countries soon to be taken over by this Israel-hating organization have a current peace treaty with Israel. Once these governments are overturned, Israel has no friendly (or semi-friendly) neighbors in the region. Even America has turned its back on God's chosen people.

So why does any of this matter to us on the other side of the planet? Well, you probably know that nearly all Bible prophecy is centered on God's chosen people, the Jews. If we ever want to know where we are on God's prophetic map timeline, we only need to watch Israel. And why would this matter to America? A long, long time ago, in a land far, far away (but in this Galaxy and on our planet) the God of the Universe made a promise to Abraham. His promise was that He would bless those who bless him and He would curse those who curse him. And by the way, this promise was extended to the descendants of his son, Isaac, who we now know as the Jews. So, it's no wonder that nations who have supported Israel in the past, including the USA, have been blessed by God. So what do you suppose will happen to these nations, including the USA, who have turned their backs on Israel, hmmmm?

Well, anyway, I'm sure you the reader are a smart person who can figure out how our country stands on this issue. I mean really, all these birds falling dead from the sky dead, all these severe and unusually cold winter storms blanketing our nation, not to mention our economic woes - surely these must be coincidental, right? Hmmm.

PSALMS 122:6

I've said it before and I'll say it again. It's impossible to be a heaven-bound Christian without having a love for the Jews. When you become a true Christian, God grafts you into His people (Romans 11). No, we don't replace the Jews as some demonic teachings that have infiltrated our churches teach. And no, we don't become physical Jews. A Danish Christian is still Danish and a Cuban Christian is still Cuban. But we DO become spiritual Jews just like the Bible teaches (Romans 2:28-29). This is why we have a supernatural love for them. So let's do what the Bible tells us to and "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem."

It's not exactly the kind of news I wanted my alarm clock to wake me up to, and I've heard this one before, but now we can find this same report on Fox, CNN, and Yahoo. We're all getting Internet IDs because Obama wants big brother to track our every online move. When I first heard this report, I remember thinking it will not happen because the American people won't allow it. But then it occurred to me: The American people haven't been in charge of America for a very long time.

So now the obvious question. What's the big deal? Well, when was the last time you tried to fill out a job application the old fashioned paper and pen method? And many years ago when I was on unemployment, we had to fill out our weekly reports online. I know a lady on food stamps whose monthly allotment hasn't been awarded. When she called to inquire, they gave her a PIN number and a Web site to check every day.

Imagine voicing your frustrations with the Obama Administration while they are watching. Imaging selling your college textbook on Amazon.com only to have IRS agents knocking on your door because you didn't charge taxes. Imagine offending Muslims because you posted on a blog like this that Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven, while the Muslim-in-Chief is watching. Or imagine comparison shopping online for the prices of handguns.

Well, let's just not get the Internet ID, right? Well, I refer you back to the paragraph above. When was the last time you asked a company for an application and they told you it's all done online now? What if you need to check your checking account balance? What if you're a student and you want to pay your tuition or check your grades of your ONLINE class, only to be told that's all done now online. Or what if your boss send you an email but you don't have an Internet ID to check it with?

Get the point? This Internet ID plan is no doubt a probable prelude to Rev 13:16-17.

I really, really, really hope and pray that this does not come to pass anytime soon. If it does, and they require some form of bio-metrical ID, I suppose it's safe to say we've arrived at that point in history where we'll have to be fed by God through ravens (assuming they haven't all fallen dead out of the sky yet). I'll most likely lose my job as a Webmaster.

Now before anyone gets angry and goes sticking their head back in the sand, notice that I did say "a probable prelude" to the Mark of the Beast. It may still amount to nothing. Unfortunately, I think that it will eventually tie somehow into the ever-popular implantable microchip, which will eventually evolve in the Mark of the Beast. Hope I'm wrong.

BUT THANKS BE TO GOD THAT HE IS STILL IN CONTROL!!!

The Birds and the Bees

Over the last few weeks, there have been many news reports of animals dying in mass quantities, mostly birds. The first report I can remember, on January 2, mentioned thousands of birds dropping out the the sky in Arkansas along with thousands of dead fish washing ashore somewhere else in the US.

I thought, "Hmm, that's strange" then let it go. Then other reports started popping up about mass animal deaths; more birds in more locations around the world, as well as other kinds of animals (dead crabs come to mind). Recent reports came out of Sweden and Spain; today’s latest from California and the country of Turkey. Many have nicknamed these strange happenings as “the Aflockalypse” (very cute)

So what about the bees (since I did title this post "The Birds and the Bees")? Good question.

There have also been many recent reports about the world's bee population mysteriously declining at alarming rates. What's not so good about this? Well, if you remember back in 6th grade science, bees are how plants do the "birds and the bees" thing; they need bees to reproduce.



So where does all this tie into Bible Prophecy?

In regard to the birds, many of us watchers have no solid idea, only speculations. As for the bees, let us consider one of the four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: The black horse.

(Rev. 6: 5-6) When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come and see." So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine."

This is an obvious picture of a global economic depression. A denarius was a day's wage. So imagine spending all of your day's earning on a quart of wheat just to feed your family (and you can forget about the rent and utilities). As for the oil and wine, I don't know, unless you consider petroleum oil and wine representing happiness.

Now let us take the world's bees out of the picture - those tiny little critters that cause fruit and vegetable plants and tree to reproduce. It stands to reason that their disappearance would cause the supply of food to go way down, which according to basic rules of economics would cause food prices to skyrocket.

It turns out those pesky little creatures that buzz around your ears and get in your soda can are really God's provision to the human race. With them out of the picture, it won't be a pretty picture.


Seems to me this is the beginning of another Bible prophecy unfolding before our eyes. If not, as usual, you can blame it on last night's pizza (while there still is pizza).
